Nursing Certification and Competency Summit

Building a National Research Agenda

Pre-Summit Materials

Prior to the Summit we suggest all participants become familiar with the following background materials to facilitate creative dialog and exploration.

In January, 2009 we conducted a survey of ABNS members. This survey asked members to help us clarify possible research themes which would be further vetted prior to the Summit in October. The results of this survey can be seen here.

This document provides the background and history of the Summit, identifies the research priorities, clarifies the objectives of the Summit and provides a list of all participants in the Summit.

In addition to the documents above, the following articles have been identified as useful and relevant to the conversations we'll be having at the Summit.
