Round 1: History Wall

Welcome!

For our first activity today we're using the white boards in the front of this room to explore the last 100+ years – and the key events that have influenced healthcare and have gotten us where we are today.

On the white walls in the front of the room you will find a timeline of the last 100+ years along with several tracks running horizontally. Using the markers provided, please write the events, forces, trends, and innovations on the timeline – that have influenced healthcare and where we are today in society. Please add as many of these as you would like and, where possible, please add them in their appropriate track and approximate timeframe.

Once you have added your events and trends to the timeline please find one person you do not know and share what you have written with them – and hear what they have written. Once the two of you have shared what you have written, we will convene in the large group seating area.
