In the next 60-90 days this work group will be responsible for recruiting
potential tenants for the first floor, identifying additional partners
and designing an
implement able work plan to be presented to the Partners at the September
meeting.
- The second work group will develop detailed work plans for the following
key elements of a community wide integrated services system:
- Information hub, system navigators
- Common initial screening, triage
- Multi-agency problem solving teams/joint case staffing
- Cross training
- Backroom operations (e.g., data sharing, funding streams)
- Customer feedback mechanisms (report card)
Suggested membership of the
design work group includes representatives of DSHS, King County Housing
Authority/Hope VI, Highline School District,
Employment Security Department, Public Health, the YWCA and its Career Development
Center/WorkSource
affiliate site, and Head Start, along with community residents and
community based organizations.
The next steps in 30-90 days include development
of a memorandum of agreement, creation of a community report card, and milestone
for implementation of
both actions. A complete work plan outlining these actions will be
presented to the
deputies on August 22nd at their regularly scheduled meeting.
